It is important to note that applicants must apply for this type of visa for Saudi Arabia from Dubai before leaving for Saudi Arabia.
This multiple entry visa allows the holder to stay for 90 days. This 90 day duration can be used in one entry or broken down into multiple entries. After your 90 day stay, you will have to apply for a new eVisa or Saudi visa from Dubai.

The on-arrival visa was implemented in September 2022 and is a straightforward procedure that makes traveling to Saudi Arabia even easier for the lucky few eligible for this visa type. To be able to apply for this visa, applicants must meet the requirements and fulfill either of the three eligibility criteria. The best part is that eligible applicants flying from Dubai don't need to apply for the Saudi Arabia visa from Dubai. Rather they can apply during entering Saudi Arabia at the landing airport.
A single entry on-arrival visa allows the holder to stay in Saudi Arabia for one month. A multiple entry on-arrival visa allows the holder to stay for a maximum of three months which can be used up in one entry or multiple entries.

The cost of an eVisa is 690 AED(704 SAR). This fee covers Saudi Arabia embassy fees, travel insurance, document checking, application typing, and consultation fees. Please note that applicants above 75 years of age might have to pay an additional payment for insurance.
The cost of an on arrival visa is 300 AED(306 SAR) including documentation. You can pay for your Saudi on arrival visa by credit card or debit card.
The eVisa, like a tourist visa for Saudi Arabia from Dubai, is valid for 1 year from the entry date.
The multiple entry on arrival visa is valid for a maximum of three months.
The application process for both Saudi visa types is very straightforward. Please note that your visa processing duration can vary depending on the working hours of Saudi Immigration. The Saudi Arabia and UAE work week was changed on 01 January 2022. The working days are Monday to Thursday, Saturday, Sunday are weekends, and Friday is half a day.

If you continue to stay in Saudi Arabia even after your visa is finished or has expired, you will be considered overstaying. The penalty for overstaying your Saudi eVisa or on arrival visa will result in a fine of 100 SAR(98 AED) per day of overstaying. This penalty needs to be settled at the time of exit at any Saudi airport.
