What is the UAE Golden Visa for Doctors and Scientists?

This category of golden visa allows you to stay in the UAE for 5 to 10 years and you do not need a sponsor to apply for it. Other features of the golden visa for Doctors and scientists include:

●    A labor card copy
●    The job contracts from the ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE)
●    An accredited letter from the ministry of health from the home country stating their practice as a medical profession which is also known as medical license. 
●    A recommendation from the Emirates Scientist Council or
●    Proof of receiving Mohammed bin Rashid medal of scientific excellence.
 

●    A letter of approval from the Ministry of Health and Prevention allowing you to practice medicine in the country.
●    Scientists need to provide a recommendation from the Emirates Council of Scientists or a letter from the secretariat of the Mohammed          bin Rashid medal for scientific excellence which indicates that the applicant has been awarded the medal for Scientific excellence.
●    A monthly salary of AED 30000 at least.
●    The scientist should also have attained a PhD or master’s degrees in areas of engineering, life sciences, technology or natural sciences        from recognized universities in the world.

There is a slight difference in the application process for those applying in Dubai and for those applying while outside Dubai.  The only difference is that those applying from outside Dubai will need to apply for a prepaid visit visa or travel to Dubai if they are eligible for a visa on arrival.
