Enjoying a thrilling ride is top activity to do at Yas Island Waterworld Abu Dhabi. There are more than 40 rides to choose from ranging from bigger rides to small rides for the kids.

1. Tot’s Playground

If you are touring the park with younger kids they can enjoy a ride at tot’s playground. It is the right place to introduce your kids to the water riding experience. It will be an exciting and fun experience.

It is safe for the kids and will spend as much time at this playground. The kids get to slide down to the pool where they can also swim or take a dip. 

2. Cannon Point

The kids get to interact with other at Cannon Point where they play cannon fight. The kids group and assume different location before they start fighting role.

You can also play this game a family. You should avoid the water sprayed by Bandit Bomber riders. It is an enjoyable acidity at this water park worth trying.

3. Yehal

If your kids are scared of taking ride or not big enough to meet the height requirements this is where you should take them. Yehal is one of the water rides in the park mean for smaller kids where there is a dumping bucket and can enjoy 3 rides. The kids can practice for bigger rides here where after sliding through they splash into the dumping bucket.

4. Yadi Yas

You can particptate in this ride as a whole family where you will slide down the gushing Yadi Yas River. It is a thrilling ride and will have to hop in the plastic air filled tubes and hold on tightly as you with your kid’s enjoy the ride.

5. AMWAJ

You can take a break from the slide and re-energizer in Amwaj which is a wave pool. You can relax in the pool by taking a plastic tube get on top and float in the water. You will enjoy the calmness away from the busy parts of the park.

While relaxing in the water you will admire the surrounding, more so the view of where the water is gushing down. You can have quality time with your family here or loved one. 

6. Cine Splash

Here you will get a once life time experience where you will watch a movie while the waters are on your knee level in a 5D movie 5D movie theatre of Yas Waterworld .

Youi can also have the same experience by visiting move hall which features special effects like waterfall, moving seats or water explosion. 
Among the moves you can watch here is one who the main character Dana and her friends embark on a mission to reveal the “Legend of the Lost Pearl”.

7. Water Wars

At water mars you can engage into a fun fight with your family. You will no use weapons ort hands but rather will fight with water balloons. It is an exciting and enjoyable experience as you run in the water trying to hit each other with the balloons.

You will need to buy basket of balloons which you will use as the ammunition to fight either with your friends or family member. It is an enjoyable warfare and will teach your kids will love the experience.

8. Marah Fortress

If you have kids and want to enjoy various water activities, you should towards the Marah Fortress. There is water playground where as a family can play various water activities which is fun. The playground is not only meant for kids but also adults.

Among the water activities or games can play is water cannons, water spraying and water-shooting geyser. You can also enjoy slides and end up splashing into the dumping buckets.

9. Al Raha River

Al Raha River is the spot in the park where you can spend quality time away from the crowd or not pleased with bigger rides. You will have relaxing time riding on water tube going per the water flow.

The water is 300m and can lie and relax as the wind blow the water tube in whatever direction. As you enjoy the relaxing ride will come across waterfalls, rain showers and lost caves.

10. Slithers Slides

This is one of the thrilling rides at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi Water Park.  The ride is exhilarating and will come out of the mouth of a serpentine.

Before you land into the pool, will have to go through water curtain where there is no light at all, take several turns before entering among the six serpentines. You will have unique experience during this ride as each serpentine has its own twist.

From November to March is the best time to visit Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi. During this time the weather is favourable for all outdoor activities because the temperatures are mild and humidity is lower.

You can also visit the park during summer season given the park as cooling system but the temperatures and humidity is high. The best thing about visiting during summer is it is less crowded and can enjoy as many rides without have to wait for others to complete the ride.

You can have more relaxed and enjoy as many rides as possible if you schedule your visit on weekdays compared to visiting during the weekends or public days.

The following is means of transport you can use to get to Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi Water Park.

1. By Car

You can drive to the park from Abu Dhabi. You should take exit 14 and drive following road signs. You can also use google maps or GPS to know which route to use to get to the park.

2. By Public Transportation

You can board public bus from Abu Dhabi to Yas Island. There are several buses offering services route to the Island. When you get off at the Island, hire taxi to the park.

3. By Taxi

Whether you are in Dubai or Abu Dhabi you can hire taxi to the park. The taxi drivers know where the park is located because it is a famous water park.
