Two types of visas may be obtained :
The Single Entry Tourist visa on a Dubai Urgent Visa basis is issued for a 30, or 60-day period.
You may enter the country only once, and may stay in the UAE only for the issued number of days.
The Multiple Entry Visa allows you to stay in Dubai for a 30-day or 60-day period. With the Multiple Entry visa, you may enter and exit Dubai multiple times during the issued length of stay on your visa. We urge our guests to be careful not to overstay as an overstay fine will be charged you.

If you are eligible for an on arrival visa, you do not need to apply for the Dubai Urgent Visa. Simply book your flight to any of the 7 emirates and travel. Upon entry, immigration will stamp your passport for a 30‑day, 90-day, or 14-day visa, free of charge, visa.
If you are a Passport Holder of the following countries, you are eligible for a 30-day, free of charge, on-arrival visa when you arrive in the UAE :
Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, China, Hong Kong-China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Macau-China, Malaysia, Mauritius, Monaco, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, San Marino, Singapore, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, United States of America, Vatican City
If you are a citizen of these 48 countries you are eligible for a 90-day, free of charge, on-arrival visa. Your passport will be stamped for a 90‑day, Multiple entry visa, valid for 180 days (6 months).
If you need to stay longer you should apply for a visa renewal or extension.

Indian passport holders with valid residency in the UK and the EU, or with a USA Green Card, are eligible for a 14-day, on-arrival visa, however, the UAE is not processing these visas on an on-arrival basis at present. Instead, these nationals may travel to Dubai and the UAE after first obtaining their prepaid single-entry 14-day visa for a fee of only AED 63.
Similarly, nationals of the following countries may travel to Dubai only after obtaining prepaid visas : Sri Lanka, South Africa, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan
