If you want to stay longer in Dubai, you should follow the below guidelines.

On Arrival Visa Extension

Since you are eligible for on arrival free visa as a Swiss national you can do an extension by,

1. Doing Airport to Airport visa change and getting new tourist visa ( prepaid 30 day or 60 one )

Exit the border – doing Oman border run Here the process is; the visa holder exits the country and flies to a nearest Middle East country like Oman and just takes a break of a few hours for visa processing. Once the process is done the visa holder can book a flight and get back to the country.

3. Doing 90 days in country visa

90 day on arrival visa extension

90-day visa holders have a 180-day visa valid period. That means If you consume 90 days straight away, You cannot get another arrival visa until completing the visa validity period (which means you have to wait another 90 days to complete 180 days) . In that case you should do an extension – in there you can go for below 3 methods.

Prepaid visa extension

If you are a Swiss resident holding a prepaid Dubai visa, you can simply extend it through Airport to airport visa change and get a new tourist visa (prepaid 30 day or 60 one ). And also it is possible to do the 90 day in-country visa without exiting Dubai. For more details regarding the extension please contact Our visa team.
