Guided Tour : Throughout this safari you will be taken through the Dubai conservation drive by a professional conservation guide assigned to you. They will tell you some interesting facts about the fauna and flora of the desert and how the nomadic Arabs used to survive in the desert.
Desert sunset : In the evenings you can sit and watch the beautiful desert sunset as you enjoy watching the traditional wild animals hunting(falconry). This moment is the best for taking the sunset selfies with your family for this lifetime experience to always keep the memories.
Delicious Dinner : Once you have enjoyed the spectacular Arabian sunset you can ease the evening by taking a delicious Emirati dinner with shared starters and nourishing mains.
Live entertainment : Besides these delicious dinner experience, you will be entertained with traditional performances as you smoke some aromatic shishas. Some of the dances include the yola and drumming. The whole family can join in the entertainment such as drumming to enjoy the eventful evening.
Vintage Car Rides : You can plan on how you wish to enjoy your 60 minutes’ safari by customizing your tour and choosing how you will explore. The exploration is done on a vintage land cruiser which brings in the memories of UAE in 1950s when the first vehicles were introduced. Camel ride : If you choose to go for the safari on a camel the experience will be like that of an ancient Arab nomad. These camels are popularly known as the ships of the desert and they have been a key part of the UAE heritage.
Overnight Camping : Alternatively, you can opt to spend the night in the desert in a stone dwelling room which is well furnished with comfortable bedding. Before you can embark on a journey back to the heritage camp for a delicious breakfast you can decide to up your experience by taking a breathtaking hot air balloon flight.

5. Inclusions of the Dubai Desert Evening Heritage Tour
The package is Inclusive of ;
Transportation - Depending on the season we begin by pick up by the Arabiers team between 2 pm to 4:30 pm from the Hotel in Dubai. The exact pick up team will be communicated to you by our team by noon of the safari.
Food and Beverages - Arrival at the Bedouin camp which is natural and torch lit as you receive the Arabic welcome with coffee and dates. Enjoy the delicious, four-course traditional dinner as you enjoy the evening breeze.
Activities in the desert Safari - Enjoy the beautiful sunset show of falcon as you cruise through the Arabian desert. Make sure to watch the entertaining Emirati performances such as drumming and Yola.
If you decide to spend the night in the camp you can enhance the experience by taking a hot air balloon ride at the sunrise. The hot air balloon site is approximately 15 minutes away from the overnight camp. Once you are done with this lifetime hot air balloon ride experience you can now return to the camp to take breakfast before proceeding back to the city.
Go ahead and enjoy some bread making live, coffee making, camel rides as you take some shisha.
6. What is optional in the package
You can opt for a vintage land rover or a camel caravan during the desert safari. This is selected during the booking.
You can opt to drive back to your hotel or spend the night in a traditional stone dwelling room where you will be provided with comfortable bedding and breakfast.
7. Meeting Points and Timings
The pick-up time is between 2 pm to 4:30 pm from the Hotel in Dubai. After you have been picked then you arrive at the Dubai desert conservation reserve where you will be issued with your stainless steel water bottle and a headscarf. These are extra gifts to our guests and they are included in every booking.
Depending on the season get back to the hotel between 9:30 to 11: pm. This whole safari experience will take approximately 7 hours.
8. Cancellation Policy
Cancel a Dubai city trip 72 hours before the scheduled start time to get a full amount refund. You will not be refunded the amount paid if do not cancel you trip in time before the excursion begins.
9. Desert Safari Tips and Additional Information
- There is a percentage of your desert safari fee that is contributed towards conservation in Dubai
- Pick up by a vehicle from your hotel to the desert is included to the package and will be shared in an air conditioned vehicle. If you are staying in a private residence our team can pick you up at the nearest hotel or you can book a private car.
- It is advisable to bring with you a hat, sunglasses cool light and comfortable clothes and sunscreen since in the desert sometimes it can get very hot. If you are travelling over winter between November to march you are advised to carry warm wear for the evenings.
- If you are booking online, please ensure that you book at least three hours in advance. If you are booking within a short period kindly get in touch with the Arabiers reservation team.
- There are children rates which will be charged to children between 5 to 11 years.
- If you are travelling for the safari with children below 5 years old, you have to book for a private car.
- During the booking which includes the traditional dinner you should ensure you inform the us in advance in case of any deity requirements or allergies. We can take care of the vegetarians, vegan, gluten-free.
- At the camp the bathroom facilities are available and free.
- You can enjoy the nature drives but not ideal for visitors who are more than 6 months pregnant.
- Some vehicles have a capacity of up to 10 guest.
- The camps have a restricted capacity of between 75 to 100 guests at a go to ensure the guests get the best comfort during their safari.
10. Night Long Camping Tips
- If you intend to spend the whole night in the desert as you camp please reach out to Arabiers customer service team. This is because we have different rooms with different capacity.
- Our operations are Eco-friendly and therefore the whole desert experience will be natural. There might be some harmless insects in the camp site during the night. However, regular pest control is carried out at the camp but also trying to keep the nature undisturbed.
- If you have booked for a shared vehicle each visitor can have one back pack or carry on accommodated. They should not be more than 50 cm in height.
- You can reach out to the Arabiers customer service team if you want a private vehicle with a bigger space for luggage.
- The power at the desert camp gets switched off from 11 pm to 6am and you have the whole night to enjoy peaceful and restful sleep.
- You will have your room fully equipped with comfortable bed and bedding.
- Ensure that you put on the right clothing according to the season and weather since there is no air conditioning or heaters through the night in the camp.
- The bathroom facilities are shared at the desert camp but there are no showers on site.
