When to Visit Dubai ?
The sun shines boldly and brightly in Dubai practically every day of the year. Tourists throng to Dubai primarily in the winter months which fall from October to March. The temperature is milder at 14°C to 24°C (57° F to 75°F).
Tourists also visit Dubai during the hot summer months to benefit from off season discounts and perks. The summer months typically fall from June to August. The temperature during summer months can range from 33°C to 42°C, and days have up to 13 hours of sunlight. There is still much to do in Dubai even in the summer months. When visiting Dubai during the summer months, we advise our clients to be sure to wear sunscreen and light clothing that does not expose your skin to the sun’s harsh rays, and to carry enough water to keep hydrated at all times.

For the optimum enjoyment of your time in Dubai we have put together the following list for you to plan accordingly :
Dos
Do wear comfortable and conservative clothing with no indecent exposure especially when visiting historical sites, monuments and public spaces. The UAE is a conservative culture and the Emiratis hold its customs and traditions in high esteem.
Do book tickets in advance if you want to visit popular places like Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain. Having advance bookings will minimize the time you spend in queues.
Do use the Dubai metro which is a well-run public transportation system during rush hours.
Don’ts
Do not beg in Dubai even as a joke. Begging is a punishable crime. Anyone who is caught begging will be fined 5000 AED.
Do not drink in public places. This is prohibited in Dubai.
Do not engage in any paid work or business activity either on a fulltime or part-time basis if you are on a tourist visa as doing so is prohibited. In order to work in Dubai, or in any other Emirate, you have to have a residence visa.
Do not overstay beyond the time permitted on your tourist visa. Overstaying your visa will also cost you 50 AED for each day you overstay. Contact Arabiers to get a visa extension as soon as possible.

Official Currency
The official currency in Dubai is Dirhams (AED). Exchanging your currency into dirhams is not difficult. You can do so at the Dubai airport upon entry or you can exchange prior to boarding your flight at your port of embarkation.
You can use your credit and debit cards to make purchases especially at supermarkets and malls in Dubai. It is advisable, however, to have local currency on you when visiting souks and markets in Dubai so you may pay in cash especially if obtaining a bargain price.
Spoken Languages in Dubai
Dubai is a multilingual country. Although the majority’s language is Arabic you will find local people, especially sellers and shop-keepers, speaking and understanding English.
